I am a retired Family Practice Physician with a long time passion for photography. My interest began while in high school and has advanced over the years. My first 35mm camera was the Minolta SRT 101. Later I switched to Nikon cameras of which I had many different versions and lenses. I also shot with medium format, starting with Mamiya cameras, and later the ultimate Hasselblad.
I was initially hesistant to move to digital but never looked back. For a number of years I used Nikon digital, but more recently have been using Fujifilm X-series cameras and lenses. My images are processed in Lightroom/Photoshop, with occasional use of Topaz AI.
I enjoy all types of photography, including portrait, wedding, sports and architecture, but my favorite is landscape. My bucketlist is to photograph as many National Parks as I can. My favorite locations have been Death Valley NP and Acadia NP, both of which I have been to at least 10 times. I’ll continue to photograph this magnificent Creation as long as my health will allow.
As you visit my site, enjoy the variety of wonderful landscapes we are blessed with here in America.
